I’ve come across some great low calorie products since I started this weight loss journey.  Here are some of my favorites.

Ballpark Light Beef Hot Dogs  These light dogs are 100 calories and 7 grams of fat, saving you 40 calories and 9 grams of fat.  And no one can tell the difference.

Boar’s Head Deli Meats  My favorites are Salsalito Turkey, Pastrami Seasoned Turkey, Cracked Pepper Mill Turkey, and Blazing Buffalo Chicken.  All have a little extra flavor and come in at only 1 POINT® per two ounce serving.

Cabot 50% Reduced Fat Cheddar   I tasted a lot of gross low fat cheeses before I found this one.  It is really good.  The reduced fat cheddar is 70 calories and 4.5 grams of fat per ounce, compared to the regular cheddar which is 110 calorie and 9 grams of fat.

FAGE Total 0% Yogurt  I don’t get excited over too many fat free products, but this one is excellent.  It is a Greek-style yogurt – very thick and creamy – that’s made in the USA.

Fiber One Granola Bars  The Strawberry & Almonds bar is tasty, and the Apple Streusel granola bar is my favorite.  (They also make some other flavors I’m not as fond of.)  They are 2 Weight Watcher POINTS®.

Kettle Bakes Potato Chips  These come in several flavors, I tried the aged white cheddar – they are delicious – and the hickory honey barbecue flavor is even better! 120 calories, 2 grams of fiber and 3 grams of fat per one ounce serving.

La Banderita low carb/low fat soft taco tortillas   With each tortilla containing 81 calories, 1 gram of fat, and 6 grams of fiber, these are delicious and only 1 Weight Watchers POINT®.   (I dislike fat free tortillas, incidently; these have none of that funky fat-free aftertaste.)  Unfortunately, their website didn’t tell me what stores carry them, so I’m not sure if they’re available nation-wide.

Nature’s Own Whitewheat Buns  Available in both hamburger and hot dog style on the bread aisle, these 80 calorie, 1.5 g fat buns are just 1 POINT®.  They taste just like any other plain buns.

Orville Redenbacher’s 100 Calorie Mini Bags 94% Fat Free Butter  These single serving bags of microwave popcorn yield a satisfying amount of tasty popcorn for only 100 calories.

Philadelphia 1/3 Less Fat Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese  This is great as a sandwich spread, on bagels, or thinned with a little skim milk to make a dip.  Two tablespoons has 70 calories and 5 grams of fat.

Pretzel Crisps from The Snack Factory  I like the original ones best.  They are fat free, crispy and salty.  A one ounce serving has 110 calories.

Publix GreenWise Chicken Sausage  If you don’t live in the SE US, I’m afraid you’re out of luck on this one, but if you do, definitely give it a try.  Taken out of the casing and broken up and fried in a skillet, this makes a superb substitute for much higher calorie pork sausage.  Great in spaghetti sauce or any pasta recipe.

Thomas Double Fiber Honey Wheat English Muffins  These delicious muffins have five grams of fiber, half a gram of fat, and 120 calories each which means they are 2 Weight Watcher POINTS®.  Great topped with peanut butter.

Vitalicious Deep Chocolate Vitamuffins  These have a rich chocolate flavor and no artificial or “off” taste the way some packaged foods do. At 100 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, and 6 grams of fiber, each two ounce muffin is only one Weight Watcher POINT®.

Weight Watchers GIANT Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream Bars  These are delicious – creamy with no artificial taste – and they are only 1 Weight Watcher POINT® each.

Weight Watchers Mint Chocolate Chip Cup  This, the mint chocolate chip, is the best tasting low fat ice cream I’ve ever had.  The individual portion cups make it easier not to overindulge.

Weight Watchers Reduced Fat Cream Cheese Spread  These one ounce, 1 POINT ® portion cups are just the right size for my favorite bagel.

Western Bagel Alternative Roasted Onion Bagels  Low calorie, high fiber and fat free.  Where I live, they are available in my grocery store’s bakery department.  I make open face sandwiches with these – toasted bagel, Weight Watchers cream cheese, two ounces of turkey, lettuce and tomato, served with one ounce of baked chips and a pickle for only 5 POINTS®.
